The question “Why can’t you / I / he / she do it?” is actually a negative lead that has worked its way into our vernacular. Essentially, when you say “Why CAN’T I do that?,” it may SOUND positive, but you’re actually only instructing your mind to look for the negative reasons that you CAN’T do something.
In contrast, when you ask “Why CAN I get a better job?” “Why CAN I get a better relationship?” “Why CAN I become financially independent & wealthy?”—you’re asking your mind to BEGIN to visualize the possibility of success. At first, you may “draw a blank” or even experience some mental resistance.
Listen closely to your mind’s objections. Recognize those mental obstacles for what they really are: They’re gems serving as signposts alerting you to your negative beliefs about making money. Once you begin to recognize and uncover what those negative beliefs are, you can begin to override them by acting as if you no longer accept them. If your negative belief is that the idea of wealth is “too good to be true,” then start ACTING (even if it doesn’t feel “real” at first) as though wealth is EASY….as though wealth is too good to be FALSE…as though you deserve, accept, and expect wealth in your life.
Don’t worry about the “how” yet…just ask yourself to imagine…to visualize…to FEEL what your new reality will be like. Look in the mirror and ask yourself this EVERY DAY…three or more times per day. Do it repeatedly…even if it feels awkward at first. Over and over, ask youself “Why Can I?” and wait patiently for the answers to come. Expect them to come. Just be willing to accept that you CAN become financially free. Now the stage is set; but have you got your ticket to the show?

Tips for Getting Out of Debt
1. Make a choice to get out of debt! It may seem so obvious it should go without saying, however, if you are in debt, do you have a plan to get out of it? Have you taken the time to consider that your financial freedom means that you are not in debt? This is your first most basic and most important step. Set an intention and make a plan.
2. Learn to increase your income. Part of why so many people struggle in debt is because they do not have the money to pay off their debt.
3. Do not quit your day job, yet learn other creative ways to develop multiple streams of income by working less and making more. Then paying off debt become easy.
4. As you work to build multiple income streams, pay yourself first to save to create other sources of income (at least 10% of your current income). Keep paying off your debt and do so more and more from your new income streams (at least 20% of your current and new income.) Then once ready, you can leave your old job behind.
5. Stop using credit cards except when you know they are easily paid off. When your new businesses are running strong then the rewards points on credit cards become a significant portion of your new financially free lifestyle.
